Fast-Paced Boutique Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle Public Relations Agency in Venice, CA seeking Interns!

We are currently looking for bright college juniors, seniors and graduates committed to learning about PR.

This position is UNPAID; 6 hrs a day 3-4 days a week.

This position will entail, but is not limited to: supporting our office manager as well as our publicists by maintaining media lists and editorial calendars, conducting research, coordinating mailings, working events, assembling press kits, completing daily administrative duties and maintaining databases.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced, beauty, fashion and lifestyle boutique agency!

Primary Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and organizational support

- Conduct research

- Coordinate editorial opportunities

- Maintain media lists

- Assist staff at events

- Put together and ship mailings

- Run office errands

Qualifications

- College junior, senior or graduate majoring in public relations, communication, marketing, journalism or related field

- Resourceful, proactive, organized and detail-oriented

- Excellent research ability and command of the internet

- Able to handle multi-faced projects with strong follow through

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Possession of a professional attitude and good phone etiquette

- Punctual

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
