IN SEARCH OF: BUYER -- ECOMMERCE FASHION APPAREL COMPANY
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Provide overall support to the Chief Merchant in creating a selective product assortment that meets or exceeds sales volume and profit targets. Collaborate with the Chief Merchant, President and Company Owner to develop action plans that drive growth and increased profitability.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with Chief Merchant on developing a competitive merchandise assortment that is customer and luxury focused
Partner with Production team to manage delivery flow and address issues as they arise.
Create strong partnerships among cross functional areas including the Warehouse Manager, Art and Photography Directors and Visual Coordinator
Manage all order entry
Sample Management
Prepare MD's for review and approval
Manage Purchase Order process (entry, submission to vendor, and tracking)
Create P.O. worksheets based on approved buy plan; includes initiating P.O. revisions when applicable
An ability to prioritize tasks to balance the immediate and long term needs of the business
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years. Experience in authentic sport brands or luxury brands a plus.
College Degree required
Strong analytical skills
Excellent computer skills
Ability to multi-task and complete projects on time.
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
Highly organized, detail oriented and works with efficiency and accuracy
Salary commensurate with relevant experience
