My client seeks a Designer (or Senior Designer) for their active wear brands. They are specifically looking for someone more senior with a broad skill set and expert ability to identify and execute trends. Experience can be in RTW but should include some direct or freelance active wear design to demonstrate ability within the category. They are located in Commerce, California.
The primary purpose of this position is to seasonally design and execute womens yoga, active and sleep wear collections that coordinate with the concept and philosophy of their brands and customers.
The Designer will lead trend forecasting, color, fabric and silhouette direction through design.
Experience must include designing for apparel sold in to major retailers at the mid tier and mass level. Candidates with experience from any of the major active wear brands will be of particular interest.
