Tractenberg & Co. is a full service public relations firm specializing in beauty, fashion and wellness. Clients range from John Freida, Sally Hansen, Mally Beauty, Avon and Smashbox.

As the Digital Media Associate at Tractenberg, you will gain a broad knowledge of the PR industry, with a special focus on Digital Media.

Tasks will include (but are not limited to):

Assist in developing community strategy across clients' social media channels; with a strong focus on increasing user engagement and fan growth

Provide support to internal team for client campaign management and development

Develop content for clients' social media channels and blog

o Ability to appropriately adjust writing tone for different fan communities, and to continually think of new and fresh ways to engage them

Monitor and manage numerous clients' social media channels

o Manage response protocol, working closely with internal teams and client to escalate issues appropriately

Compile weekly and monthly recaps and analytical reports

Competitive monitoring

Qualifications:

College Degree -- preferably in Public Relations, Digital Media or Communications

2-3 years of experience in digital media

Working knowledge of Public Relations industry

Experience using social media to drive business goals

Experience managing social media channels and engaging in online communities

Excellent communication and writing skills

Must be reliable and detail oriented

Interest in the beauty/fashion industry

MUST be available to start ASAP.
