Position Summary
Email Marketing Coordinator
Execute all email marketing efforts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that sales and efficiency goals are met or exceeded.
Drive creative meetings to help develop homepage, emails and banner creative and present analysis and industry insights.
Position Description
Email Operations
Build and manage accurate monthly email calendar and forecast. Manage forecast accuracy and continually improve process and business needs evolve.
Develop and maintain testing and segmentation calendars with Analytics and Vendor teams. Drive A/B, frequency, and subject line tests to optimize campaign performance. Document and communicate key learning's.
Build and manage reactivation and transactional email strategy.
Reporting and Insights
Build, manage and maintain overall email dashboard with analytics team.
Drive overall email results by analyzing email dashboard and communicating recommendations to drive email marketing strategy with the Merchandising, Site Production, Online Marketing, Social Media and Brand Marketing teams
Research and communicate industry trends, success stories Prepare and present email analysis, trending and other findings as needed.
Vendor and Budget Management
Build solid working relationships with third party email vendors
Manage, maintain and renew contracts, statements of work, etc. for all email vendors.
Research new vendors to use for email acquisition and other services.
Manage overall email team budget, submit invoices and ensure all vendors receive payment in a timely manner.
Build and present annual email plan that includes all email acquisition and other services needed to continually grow the email program.
Minimum Qualifications
1) Functional Competencies:
Consumer marketing experience and passion for retail and eCommerce.
Ability to effectively manage third party vendors
Proficient in MS Office applications; specifically MS Excel
Knowledge of email and online marketing best practices
Strong analytical & quantitative abilities; demonstrated ability to draw insights from data
2)Interpersonal Competencies:
Strong project management skills; ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Desire to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
3) Experience:
Retail and eCommerce or online/email marketing experience preferred.
Experience managing projects within cross-functional teams preferred.
4) Minimum educational level:
4 Year College Degree required.
