Seeking someone fashion-obsessed and design savvy to work side by side with boutique owner in day to day task in running boutique. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and reliable. Candidate should be able to multitask and operate at a fast pace as well as following explicit direction in some cases and other times being incredibly resourceful. Detailed knowledge regarding the latest trends, brands/designers, hot products, hot spots, stores, celebrities, events, and etc. Confidentiality and discretion in dealing with all matters is a necessity. Strong teamwork interaction is important, along with positive and productive communication skills. Ability to anticipate next steps and execute quickly is a must. An individual that wants to grow within the company and help build the brand. This position is non-paid position but is a big resume builder and has HUGE growth potential within the company. Skills & Specifications:
• Key Personality Traits: Friendly, outgoing, organized, motivated & driven will a can do attitude. A strong sense of personal style inline with current fashion.
• Maintain effective communication channels both internally and externally
• Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, twitter, facebook, and other relevant social media
• Knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator (not required but is a bonus)
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• Must be sharp, intelligent, and quick to understand priorities
• Must have foresight to know which fashion styles would sell and help the store to stock up on those kind of products
Responsibilities:
• Daily maintenance of social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Blog) and the ability to generate unique content
• Identifying trends in the market and utilizing these to develop customer focused and innovative ranges that will drive profit and influence the brand product strategy
• Creating social media strategies
• Increase web traffic and members to social media accounts
• Increase sales on e-commerce site
• Increase brand awareness
• Write Product Descriptions
• Search for Events to participate in
• Booking Fashion Parties (potential bonus)
• Assist with Events (potential bonus)
• Assist in buying inventory
• Assist with coming up with marketing campaigns and newsletters
• Assist with photoshoots
