FASHION ASSISTANT

J.T. Intimates, Inc., an established Intimate Apparel company in Los Angeles (90023) has an immediate, full time, opening for an enthusiastic hard working Fashion Assistant!

Our company offers a semi-casual work environment and has great room for growth.

The Fashion Assistant position will be responsible to help in every day tasks to collaborate and support our office team in product development, researching, and other tasks associated with design, development, and production.

Responsibilities

- Help oversee tech packs

- Handle mail, lab dips, samples

- Input and Check status of orders in Quickbooks

- Develop/ help create illustrations, sketches, CADS, or technical spec sheets

- Create Spec sheets and marketing material

- Daily communication w/ manufacturers, factories, and partners

- Must be able to travel as needed

- Help with samples and approvals

- Constantly shop to understand market

Qualifications

- Degree in fashion design or related field is a plus

- Experience in fashion design or related field

- Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator/ Microsoft office programs

- Quickbooks knowledge is a plus

- Familiar with pantones

- Familiar w/ fit process

- Knowledge of different fabrics

- Strong sense of trends/style

- Presentation skills

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Capable to work in fast paced environment, handle multiple projects, and strict deadlines

- Legal to work in the United States
