Funky Soul is looking for a motivated, creative, and responsible design intern to work hands on with our Tops and Denim line.
We are looking for interns to assist with all aspects of the business - from design to production, or whatever else happens to pop up. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing fashion label from the ground up -- so, we are seeking very enthusiastic, fun, polite, detail-oriented self-starters. This is a great work environment located in Garment District with an easy-going, relaxed, friendly staff.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- developing flats and creating line sheets
- liaising with sample and production factories
- assisting with showroom setup and prepping
- drafting emails and snail-mail correspondence
- sourcing trims and fabrics from local vendors and mills
Photoshop, Excel, & Illustrator is a plus! (PDM knowledge highly desireable) You must have great organization and communication skills and be able to work independently. Multitasking is very important.
