Lifestyle TV show, "styleboston" is seeking a smart, organized and ambitious college student to fill a fashion internship for college credit. Currently, we have two open internships with our fashion Producer.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Pull approved wardrobing from various wardrobing partners for fittings, as directed by fashion Producer
Maintain accurate inventory sheets for wardrobe on loan (sign-out and sign-in sheets, etc.)
Prepare wardrobing for camera (steam, press, clean garments, remove tags, etc.)
Maintain digital wardrobing library
Ensure all segments posted to the "styleboston" website have appropriate wardrobing credit
Provide clips to wardrobing partners each week
Return wardrobing to wardrobing partners
Research viable topics for StyleBoston's Emmy-nominated Fashion Forward segment
Assist on photoshoots and segments
Network with various retailers to stay abreast of merchandise mix
Assist with content for the StyleBoston blog
Communicate with various fashion PR firms to coordinate footage, interviews with notable fashion figures, et al.
Requirements:
A car and a valid driver's license
Flexible schedule
Basic understanding of garment terminology and construction
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the Microsoft Office Suite
Candidates should be incredibly motivated, detail-oriented self-starters who can bring new ideas to the table, while learning the ins-and-outs of production and getting hands-on experience in nearly every facet of the fashion industry, including published credit.
