Neoglory Jewelry Inc. A fast growing Fashion Jewelry Company in Downtown, Los Angeles has an immediate opening for a Full time purchasing officer.
Responsibilities
Support Operations Department by successfully coordinating deliveries of job materials
Manage job cost spending and make purchases under budget
Execute purchasing tasks in accordance with company policy and ethical standards
Coordinate timely delivery of material and equipment as required by field supervisors
Utilize purchasing skills to close orders and follow up with field personnel
Expedite material requisitions and tasks as required by the Purchasing Manager
Professionally interact with project management team, vendors, installers, and management
Act as a point of contact for field operations for numerous landscape contracts
Work with other internal departments as necessary to complete the company's main goals
Report to Purchasing Manager
Requirements
Previous experience in South America Fashion Jewelry industry
High school diploma required, college degree preferred
Bilingual (English & Spanish or Chinese) is preferred
Computer Skills Required: Outlook, Excel, Word, MS File Management Structure
Experience in American Contractor software is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good DMV record is required
Ability to work in a team or individual environment
Successfully pass employment background check
At least 2 years purchasing experience.
