Fashion Photographer Seeks Intern To Train As 1St Assistant (Lower East Side)

Established Commercial photographer specializing in Fashion, Beauty and Advertising seeks intern with the hopes of tranning he/she to becoming 1st assistant.

You will work very closely with me and will have the opportunity to get tons of hands on experience and learn the ins & outs of the photo industry. It's not always as glam as it looks :)

Main Requirement:

- Have an easy going personality is KEY. I can teach you many things but if the personality is not there then it doesn't matter how much you know.

These are other Requirements:

-Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Bridge, Camera Raw)

-Familiar with Capture One Pro and Lightroom

-Familiar with Canon system and Digital med formats

-Social media savvy - updating facebook, twitter and blog posting

-Good writing and Verbal skills

-Good grasp of the industry - You know who these people are : Iris Apfel, Diana Vreeland, Helmut Newton, Anna Wintour, Alexander Mcqueen, Ryan Mcginley, Nan Goldin...... you get where I'm going with this

This is a non-paid internship. However, my intention is to train someone who will eventually become my 1st assistant. After proving yourself worthy you will be paid depending on how much you have learned (only on paid jobs).
