PR INTERN NEEDED FOR FASHION PUBLICIST, WEST HOLLYWOOD
I'm a freelance fashion publicist currently working with several fashion brands. I work from my home office, and am looking for someone to assist me with PR efforts (media and celebrity outreach and events) approximately 2 -- 3 days per week (approx 4 hrs each day). Ideal candidate must be interested in fashion and all levels of fashion media. You must also be a self-motivated go-getter, highly organized and excel in verbal and written communication. This is a perfect position for someone interested in breaking into the fashion PR/marketing world. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with media outreach: emails and phone calls
Packaging and sending samples to celebrities
Assisting with editorial mailings (assembling media kits, press releases, look books, etc.)
Researching new media targets and potential marketing opportunities
Updating and maintaining press lists
Clipping press placements
Sending out and tracking sample requests
Event support (invitations, guests lists, RSVP's, sourcing props/rentals, set-up, check-in, etc.)
Compensation: College credit only
Must have own laptop computer and own form of transportation
