for fresh innovative talent to help us make our mark in the local, national and international fashion industry! Ready or Not, Fashion Emerge PR

kicks it off in a MAJOR way April 2012! We have exciting opportunities for Fashion PR Interns who will become the future of our firm!

Internship Assignment:

Assist Senior PR Coordinator and Jr. PR Coordinator with all aspects of boutique marketing, branding and communication strategies.

Daily Tasks Will Include:

-Support on managing appointments, press days and special events.

-Handle and maintain loaned product and the tracking of all inventory

-Organize and prepare press kits and other documents

-Track and clip of all press coverage (i.e. press clip books)

-Handle editorial credit requests

-Contacting Media Outlets

-Create PowerPoint presentations

-Assist in basic administrative office tasks

-Research new business and strategic marketing assignments

Qualifications:

Interns must be fun spirited, dedicated, and organized with a ready-to-work mentality. Candidates should have excellent research, writing and analytical skills.

Must be a college student interested in FASHION public relations/communications, strategic or integrated marketing, or a recent college grad looking to gain

experience/exposure in the field. Seeking long-term, 6 month minium commitment.

Required Skills:

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Previous public relations internship experience a plus

MAC and PC skills

Excellent Excel skills a plus

Excellent Networking skills

Excellent Interpersonal skills
