Production Coordinator
Established, luxury hat & hair accessories company seeks extremely organized, detail-oriented, hands on Production Coordinator with hand-knit and wovens experience.
Responsibilities:
Communicating daily with domestic and overseas factories and in-house sewers to ensure timely delivery and quality product
Communicating and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the most cost-efficient prices and timely delivery of supplies and materials
Sourcing new factories, materials, trims
Managing production spreadsheets on Excel
Quality control of all merchandise
At times assisting with Shipping Manager to allocate production in order to meet deadlines
Requirements:
Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task
Must have 1-2 yrs production experience
Previous experience with with hand-knits and wovens, felt/straw hats, fur, hair accessories, and belts a major plus
Both domestic and overseas production experience helpful
Must have experience sourcing/costing
Must have quality control experience
Must be highly proficient in Excel
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a +
Fluency in Spanish or Korean is a big +
