Internship Description:
Working closely with the Advertising Sales and Marketing staff, interns will be directly involved in several aspects of magazine publishing. Responsibilities will include coordinating special mailings, researching potential clients, assisting with the creation of presentations for sales staff, assisting with updating, maintaining and distributing media kits contents, as well as some general administrative work. Must be motivated, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and basic scanning. Interns must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ADVERTISING/MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS MAJORS PREFERRED. This internship may qualify for academic credit. Please check with your school.
