Recently launched new e-commerce start-up in Chicago is looking for energetic, tech-savvy interns. The right individual will be be a self-starter, interested in working in a fast paced start-up environment, able to internalize our brand quickly, and have a good attitude!
Who We are: E-commerce Fashion Site (think RENT THE RUNWAY meets SHOPBOP)
What We're Looking for: The Marketing Intern will be instrumental in helping to execute grassroots marketing plans, conducting brand research, and brainstorming new ways to reach different segments of our market at a grassroots level. Knowledge of social media outlets is a must, and we're looking for someone who likes to stay on top of tech trends, as well as someone who can contribute expertise about college markets across the country. An interest in fashion or Indian-inspired fashion is a plus. This intern will learn how to communicate the voice of a brand, how to identify key target markets, and how to build a marketing strategy.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
-Assist Director of Marketing in all marketing related activities
-Research events, organizations, etc for partnerships
-Assist with blogging, social media (tumblr, wordpress, twitter, pintrest, facebook, youtube)
-Assist with event production (planning/executing)
Qualifications:
Excellent Writing Skills and Attention to Detail a MUST!
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in communications, business, marketing, advertising, or other related field
Proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Word
Excellent organization and communication skills
