JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage the product assortment within the DG outlet stores, and coordinate the selection, delivery and execution of overall merchandising strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Running weekly reports to analyze performance within store and product category.
Writing seasonal orders based on historical data in addition to current buying trends.
Executing stock rotations on a monthly basis.
Partnering with store managers, and visual team to emphasize key product categories.
Visiting stores to gain a better understanding of market needs and conducting product knowledge seminars.
Suggesting promotional activity and pricing plans by season.
Strong attention to detail in assortment planning and inventory management to identify consumer needs.
Supporting Full Price Buying team with the day to day operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree
2-3 years experience preferably in a luxury goods environment (Junior Level position)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Knowledge of Retail Math.
Strong analytical background, organizational and time management skills.
Seeking an individual with a premium conception level to produce and coordinate outfits.
