The role of product management spans many activities from strategic to tactical. In essence, the product management function is the hub of many other activities around the product.
Overall Responsibilities:
Oversee Product management of our product lines (bags, metal, wood, textiles, and more), dealing with the planning and forecasting of products at all stages of the product lifecycle.
Work with Consuela team to manage season and line planning, merchandise planning, new product development, sample management, production schedules, vendor management, and quality assurance.
Direct all details and high level cogs of production timeline with international vendors who are planning or producing products with Consuela.
Responsible for preparing product financial forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses including liaison with production (locally and globally) to ensure supply timelines.
Provide the sales team with the necessary product information, product schedule updates, and inventories to enable them to sell the product.
Terms of Employment:
90-day trial period for position with formal review at end of timeframe to determine job continuity.
Full Time position- 40 hours or more weekly, with 10% travel required.
Salaried Position; range based on experience
No RELO package included
Willingness to commute to Dripping Springs (20 miles from Austin), until company is moved to Austin in Spring 2012.

Requirements:
2+ years experience working in product management role,
Experience highly preferred product management work in Fashion/Home decor industry
QuickBooks savvy
Microsoft Office Suite mastery
Outgoing and friendly personality with positive attitude
Self-motivated and EXTREMELY detailed and organized
Ability to understand complex and fast-paced production and fulfillment environment
