Doctors On Sight Optometrists is currently seeking strong sales savvy retail associates to fit, adjust and dispense fashion eyewear along with assisting our doctors in all of our Maryland and Virginia locations. We are also seeking mechanically inclined opticians with good hand-eye coordination and optical managers to fabricate and dispense eyewear at all of our locations. Responsibilities: Delivering great customer service.

Assist patients and customers in frame selection, fitting and dispensing.

Teaching patients Contact Lens insertion and removal training.

Front desk duties include scheduling appointments, data and accounting entries, and pre-examination procedures.

Opticians are required to safely operate all optical fabricating machinery, design lens parameters and accurately finalize the fit and finish of all lenses into frames.

Requirements:

Must have an associates degree or higher.

Must have 3+ years of previous retail experience with upscale products.

Must be willing to work up to 10 hour days and Saturdays.

Must provide excellent customer service and possess great communication skills.

Must have own reliable transportation and be able to travel to all DOS locations.

Must be an outstanding team player with a cooperative attitude and an energized approach.

Must be an enthusiastic, upbeat individual.

Must be willing to take our in-house education program which requires a certain amount of studying at home.

Must project a professional and positive demeanor with a dress for success attitude.
