THE POSITION
Your responsibilities will include assisting with sales, service, merchandising, shipping, receiving, shop cleaning and, most importantly, WHATEVER IT TAKES!
THE OPPORTUNITY
As most all of the businesses operations and decision-making occur in the shop, you will gain great insight into the workings of a fashion boutique and small business. You'll learn what it takes to succeed and excel in business and your career. If you prove yourself to be indispensable, you'll advance quickly.
YOUR CRED
Your outstanding work ethic and character has been demonstrated at school and in a professional setting. Ideally, you have recently completed or are about to complete an undergraduate degree in business, fashion or textiles. You have excellent writing skills, and an innate desire to serve others. Parlez vous Francais? Do tell.
TIME/MONEY
The position is part-time, three days a week (ideally Tues, Fri, Sat TBD), 10-6 pm. You will be paid $10 an hour.

Vert & vogue is the 2010 and 2011 winner of The Independent Weekly's Best Local Women's Boutique and Best Men's Clothing awards, as well as downtown Durham's Best Retail Business 2011. It was founded by Nadira and Ryan Hurley in 2008.
