Position Summary

Social Media Coordinator

Execute social media efforts for on a day-to-day basis

Drive creative meetings to help develop social media creative assets

Present analysis and industry insights.

Position Description

Define and Execute Social Media Strategy

Cultivate new communities and manage branded online communities on our behalf using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and other Social Media

Provide relevant content while tracking metrics and monitoring conversations

Develop innovative marketing/merchandising solutions and act as the front line brand enthusiast by interacting with customers and fans in real time on various web platforms

Participate in minute by minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations; create content for feeds and sparking discussion on various social networking sites

Drive social media product definitions, customer needs and technological capabilities into strong social media applications

Prioritize application/feature development across multiple sites

Responsible for opinionated, stylish writing and frequently posting new content to the internet

Develop and or revise text for other venues, including online communities, press releases, web articles and video blogs.

Develop viral marketing campaigns, integrate interactive media into the overall business strategy

Reporting, Insights and Vendor Management

Track and monitor relevant conversations

Drive overall email results by analyzing social media metrics and communicating recommendations to social media strategy with the Merchandising, Site Production, Online Marketing, and Brand Marketing teams

Research and communicate industry trends, success stories prepare and present social media analysis, trending and other findings as needed.

Build solid working relationships with third party social media vendors

Manage overall social media budget, submit invoices and ensure all vendors receive payment in a timely manner.

Build and present annual social media plan and other services needed to continually grow brand awareness

Minimum Qualifications

Functional Competencies:

Consumer marketing experience and passion for retail and eCommerce.

Ability to effectively manage third party vendors

Proficient in MS Office applications; specifically MS Excel

Knowledge of email and online marketing best practices

Strong analytical & quantitative abilities; demonstrated ability to draw insights from data

Interpersonal Competencies:

Strong project management skills; ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Desire to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

Experience:

Retail and eCommerce or online/email marketing experience preferred

Experience managing projects within cross-functional teams preferred

Minimum educational level:

4 Year College Degree required.
