RESPONSIBILITIES:

Store Managers work a 50 hour week: 5 days a week, 10 hours a day with a break, and are responsible for approximately 30 to 40 employees, including Assistant Managers. They must have experience merchandising apparel (Ladies, Men's, Kids & Shoes), home goods, and health and beauty products. They are completely responsible for all store financials, staff management, shipping, stock, merchandising, customer service, and controlling the shrink.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience managing similar discount apparel stores (Century21, Filenes, Marshalls, Shoppers World, etc.)

MUST have both hard- and soft-line merchandising skills

Be able to manage payrolls of about $10,000 to $15,000 weekly

Have strong background in customer service

Have a proven record of skill in controlling store shrink

Have good communication and basic computer skills
