We are a fast growing shoe/fashion company looking for talented and technically sound textile and print designer with a strong background in fashion. We are flexible with regard to structure (internship, part time or freelance project work) and would align work load with your schedule. There would be opportunities to work on specific briefs or play a role in overall collection development. Ideally suited to a new graduate, young designer or design assistant looking to get their designs into the market at high end boutiques and specialty stores.
The ideal candidate will have strong visual and communication skills, experience in print design and textile design, excellent Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work collectively on development and presentation of seasonal collections adhering to a strict timeline.
- Design and develop textile prints for consideration, and preparation for production.
-Create individual color palettes for each style utilizing and balancing master palette.
- Research market regularly for creative ideas, product awareness and competitive pricing.
