Event planning company located in Kent, WA is hiring a PT/FT Administrative/Event Assistant to the General Manager. Ideal candidates will be extremely organized and communicative. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while multi-tasking and switching gears frequently. As the Assistant to the GM, it is your responsibility to bring focus and organization to his daily work schedule through reminders, phone calls, emails, and client support. Customer service and Event Industry experience a plus. Some weekends required.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to sit at a desk for a typical 8 hour day

- Must be able to walk around events anywhere from 4 to 12 hour days.

- Must be able to move 25lbs

Minimal Qualifications:

- Clean driving record and active WA State Drivers License

- Minimum age 21

- Well versed in all basic MSFT Products (Excel, Outlook, Word)

- Presents a professional appearance and exemplary attitude

- Excellent phone demeanor and customer service skills

- Outstanding organizational abilities

Additional Qualifications:

- Graphic design experience

- Previous event industry experience, sales

- Previous administrative assistance experience

- 4 year degree in communications, marketing, or similar program
