JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Associate Marketing Manager
SUMMARY:
This position will be stationed in Bloomington, MN (relocation not paid), reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of strategic restaurant marketing programs for Fourteen Foods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Sr. Marketing Manager in determining and developing strategic local store marketing plans, programs and promotions.
Manage beginning-to-end execution of store promotions through; establishing objectives, implementing strategies, communicating with cross-functional team members, and providing post-promotion summaries and timely follow up.
Work with Operations Area Supervisors on how to coach and train store General Managers and crew members on how to implement and execute store marketing plans and Fourteen Foods marketing programs.
Manage project timelines to meet established deadlines.
Deliver timely marketing communication and materials to all appropriate parties.
Work with media reps, third party vendors and manage contract agreements.
Lead development and distribution of monthly store merchandising plans.
Assist in strategic development of print material creative.
Assist with coupon tracking and redemption to determine return on investment (ROI).
Track and analyze sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree.
Extraordinary interpersonal and relationship building/management skills.
Ability to coach/train restaurant personnel on marketing philosophy and processes.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet and exceed expectations within a fast-paced work environment.
Extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Willing to travel 40-50% of work hours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree -- Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations emphasis.
Print and outdoor media experience.
Restaurant or retail marketing experience.
Franchise business experience.
Graphic design software knowledge/experience.
