Marcus and Millichap, the nation's largest real estate investment brokerage firm, is looking for an Administrative / Marketing assistant to provide support to a successful Investment Broker. Candidates must be extremely organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to work independently. Additionally, the candidate must have exceptional follow through and possess strong customer service, written/verbal communication, and pc skills.
Graphic design, marketing, familiarity of finance, and/or commercial real estate industry experience is a huge plus.

If you can locate a file at moment's notice, learn the industry and our database software quickly, multitask and time manage at an impressive level, proofread for accuracy, have excellent spelling and grammar skills, take responsibilities away from the agent so he can focus solely on producing revenue, baby-sit deals to completion, while having a sense of humor you are hired!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide marketing support such as creation of mailers, newsletters and marketing other items.
Coordinate and follow up on pending transactions & due diligence.
Prepared detailed property evaluations.
Maintain customized in-house database.
Conduct internet research.
Create and maintain spreadsheets.
Draft written communication to clients, prepare contracts & other forms.
Field incoming phone calls and manage daily operations of the Broker's office.
Manage files, mass mail, faxing, photocopying and overall organization.
Schedule meetings, phone conferences, travel plans, lunches.
Manage and coordinate broker schedule.
Perform any other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Prior experience in real estate and marketing is a must.
Proactive, ethical, and creative thinker who is willing to contribute ideas.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. Must be versatile and flexible in making last minute adjustments to work requests.
Ability to operate a computer and advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office software packages including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and contact management software.
Must be willing to learn and become proficient with in-house Real Estate Software programs.
