Neema Ahadian, Vice President of Investments of the West Los Angeles office of Marcus & Millichap, is seeking a licensed real agent to perform business development calling for multi-family products in Los Angeles.
Candidate should have, at a minimum, the following qualifications:
1 year of relevant work experience in real estate brokerage
Active real estate salesperson license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Persistent, hard working, self-motivated and team-oriented
We Provide:
A current database of contacts with property ownership information and phone numbers (typically takes new agents 6-12 months to build).
Training of the Marcus & Millichap value proposition and sales process.
Listed & sold property marketing costs including advertising and collateral materials such as postcards and brochures, shipping and postage and graphic design services.
Use of group software used in conjunction with day-to-day business including, but not limited to cash flow models, proprietary databases, Realhound Software, group outlook etc
Personal development coaching from Neema Ahadian including accompaniment on sales meetings with clients during start up phases and as needed after.
Assistance with proposal development and support in the form of financial analysis, sales and rent comp research.
Assistance with due diligence & escrow management with contracted deals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing relationships with local owners of commercial real estate properties to source new listings and business opportunities.
Job responsibilities include:
Making approximately 100 calls daily to prospect for motivated sellers and/or investors of commercial real estate in Los Angeles
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to build a strong referral base.
Set meetings with principals to present proposals to exclusively list apartment properties.
Research property owners and database management.
Research apartment sales, on-market deals, pertinent real estate periodicals and articles to obtain up to date market information.
Interact with prospective Buyers and provide them with new deals on the market.
Work with senior agent to build and develop sales techniques.
This is a commission based opportunity with no limit to the amount you can earn.
