PSESD seeks a Communications Coordinator (Job #120221002) to develop effective marketing and/or informational materials, and assist with planning, implementing, and maintaining internal and external communications for the Arts Impact Program. The Arts Impact Program trains elementary classroom teachers to independently teach theater, dance and visual arts. Training includes experiential learning in the regions premiere cultural institutions, embedded job training, and study trips to museum exhibitions and performances for participants and their students.
Successful candidate has a BA/BS degree in Communications, Web or Graphic Design, Multimedia, Journalism or related area, and job-related experience working with public relations, professional writing, and/or graphic design for print and web (AA in related area plus increasing levels of job-related experience may substitute for BA/BS). Experience with writing, marketing and photography helpful.
Position is based in Renton. Schedule: FT, year 'round. Salary: $45,520 - $51,502/yr, DOE. Excellent benefit/retirement package. Open until filled.
