Rearden Commerce is seeking Content Managers to join our team in San Francisco!
Content Managers have the unique opportunity to bring our offers (daily deals) to life. Our Content Managers ensure that each Rearden Offer has a unique page on our site by working with freelancers to create images and copy, as well as reviewing, editing, and publishing content to our site. The ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively is critical to this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure: adaptability to all situations is essential. The candidate will also be able to walk the line between highly creative and highly organized. This is a perfect growth opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic, creative and eager-to-learn individual.
Responsibilities:
* Coordination & heavy editing of offer copy and graphics
* Interface with team of 20+ freelance writers, designers and photographers in multiple cities
* Review and heavily edit offer content to ensure it meets content guidelines and quality
* Work with Account Managers to ensure that offer content is accurate and matches partner expectations
* Facilitate content creation and scheduling using CMS, Google Docs, SalesForce, DropBox, TeamworkPM/Basecamp, and other project management tools
* Interface with Director of Content and other Content Managers to ensure offer content satisfies overall content goals
* A meticulous eye for detail with exceptional problem-solving abilities
* Understands how to tell stories and relate to readers through editorial
* Excellent communication skills
* Background and/or experience in graphic design and copy editing
* Perfect grammar skills
* Ability to adapt in a dynamic and growing organization
