We are an Austin based online beauty retail store that is now hiring for a customer service representative. We have a friendly, close staff and are constantly growing leaving plenty of room for advancement. Applicants should have a minimum of two years experience in a customer service environment. Previous salon experience either as an aesthetician or front desk preferred, but not required.
Our CSR's answer phone calls, place customer orders, emails and live chat inquiries for both pre and post order customers. We expect each team member to be fully knowledgeable about our product and systems in order to successfully cross and up-sell customers and, more importantly, provide exceptional customer service. CSR's are also expected to communicate problems with other departments in regards to customer orders, requests, and opportunities.
Our business is growing, so we need a candidate who can be flexible in their work environment and adapt well to changing duties, protocols and practices. Agents will be required to perform related tasks additional to these outlined job duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure that our customers have an exceptional experience each time they contact us
* Take incoming calls while responding to customer emails daily; ability to multi-task

* Up-sell products and services creating and seizing opportunities to improve conversion rates
* Troubleshoot and solve customer issues
* Assist managers in various assignments and duties
* Have a "can do" attitude
* Be courteous and helpful always!
QUALIFICATIONS
* At least two years of experience in a call center environment with inbound and outbound calls (outbound sales calls can be substituted for face to face direct sales experience). Or two years in a customer service position where you interact with customers face to face
* Salon experience preferred, but not required
* Experience in internet marketing or graphic design a big plus, but not required
* Work experience in an ecommerce environment a big plus, but not required
* Excellent problem solving skills
* MUST be tech savvy
* Highly organized
* Experience in beauty/skin care/hair care is highly preferred, but not required
* Typing 40 WPM
* MUST have excellent phone etiquette, written, and verbal skills
* Monday through Friday 9-5. Schedule may vary due to sales volume.
