Position Title: Donor Database Coordinator

Department: Development

Reports To: Manager of Events and Donor Relations

Classification: Fulltime, Non-exempt

A successful and well-respected nonprofit organization located in the Hollywood area is seeking an experienced individual to serve at the Donor Database Coordinator. This person will also be responsible for processing contributions, generating gift acknowledgement letters to donors, and creating lists and reports from the database.

Position Summary:

The Donor Database Coordinator is responsible for providing information, processing donations, and generating timely gift acknowledgements. This position has significant responsibilities in the areas of data entry and gift processing to ensure that all cash, checks, credit card gifts, stock donations, and pledges are accurately recorded in Raiser's Edge{R}--a comprehensive, integrated, relational database system. The position is also responsible for the generation of mailing lists, reports, and email lists, as well as other assigned duties.

The Donor Database Coordinator is required to have strong computer skills and be highly detail oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities, outgoing, solutions-oriented, and interested in working as part of an energetic and driven development team. The position requires an individual who is experienced with Raiser's Edge{R} and appreciates the importance of maintaining data integrity.

The Donor Database Coordinator is an important member of the Development Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

The applicant should have the following:

At least one year of substantial Raiser's Edge{R} experience REQUIRED;

Highly detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis, including financial (gift) and statistical record-keeping skills;

Strong inter-personal, organizational, and communication skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy;

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and also Adobe Acrobat;

Ability to work independently and under pressure, take responsibility, prioritize work, complete tasks on time, work with confidential data, perform repetitive and multiple tasks with accuracy simultaneously while adhering to deadlines;

Able to analyze data and learn complex data entry codes and procedures quickly;

Ability to understand and follow directions as well as complex policies and procedures;

Excellent written, editing, spelling, and verbal skills;

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment;

Bachelor's degree preferred; AA degree acceptable with experience;

Graphic design knowledge a plus;

Hiring contingent upon a clean background check.
