ABOUT US:
Our technology matches businesses with relevant industry experts to help them raise public funding. Unlike other crowdfunding sites, we provide actual returns to funders, while also compensating experts for their value added to the fundraising process.
Our team is comprised of an experienced project manager, a lead python developer with over 20 years of experience, and two business development professionals with critical contacts in the financial service, management consulting, and investment industries. We also have a strong list of successful advisers.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Our designer had a personal emergency, so although a lot of the site is done, there is still more to accomplish.
We need the right person to help bring our site to a successful launch. If you only have a decent idea of the mechanics behind HTML, CSS, and Jquery, but are passionate about our mission and willing/capable to learn fast, we may give you a shot.
You can learn quite a bit by looking at the existing code, and expand on your skills in the directions of CSS3/HTML5. This is the perfect opportunity for a talented up-and-coming designer to showcase their skills and potentially grow with our business.

COMPENSATION:
These assignments are paid, and are time-based.
Communication with us via email is required any time we need to reach you or review your code. We meet in chat at least once a week, and sometimes in-person.
If you impress us now, this may become a full-time role with stock option participation.
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITY:
Outside of the contract role, the position can evolve into something bigger. Ideally, we want you to prove capable of enticing end users to intuitively engage, while providing them a compelling experience to ensure repeat use.
You will be encouraged to champion the end user experience and not be afraid to communicate your thoughts to the product team. Not only will you help evaluate the implementation options for new features, but you will also help design and place new elements.

- UX capacity to simplify complex financial information into a social platform
- landing page and call to action conversion optimization
- information architecture and nomenclature optimization
- comfort with financial data visualization with the capability of rendering complex information through interactive interfaces
- Javascript proficiency
