FULL TIME GRAPHIC DESINER FOR FENUXE MAGAZINE WANTED - WEB+PRINT

Fenuxe Media (which includes Fenuxe Magazine, Fenuxe Events, and Fenuxe Digital) is rapidly growing and looking to hire a talented Graphic (web + print) professional. Our ideal candidate is an ambitious, creative, talented professional who has the passion for graphic design, artistic vision, the City of Atlanta and the Gay Community.

This position requires an individual who has an excellent eye for detail and typography, and follows print and online advertising trends. As graphic designer, you will need to be a team-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced, deadline orientated work environment.

Great communication and the ability to take direction from editorial staff and clients are essential skills for this position. You will be utilizing your great customer service skills along with your creative expertise to quickly create stunning layouts for both online and print. This is not your standard 9- 5 position. In the world of media it is at times required to work outside the normal 9-5 work hours.

Requirements:

Reliable, personal transportation

Live in or near the city of Atlanta

1 -2 years print publication experience (magazine experience preferred

1-2 years web design experience.

Responsibilities include:

Graphic design layout of editorial content for the print magazine as well as the layout in the online magazine portion

Advertisement design and layout - creating & conceptualizing branding for various companies/industries/applications

Design and update marketing/promotional pieces, such as: proposal templates, sell sheets, presentations, event invitations, comps, etc

Graphic production/optimization of images for web sites, mobile apps, emails and other digital platforms

Image/photographic/graphic-related research

Preparation of imagery/artwork for website and other electronic initiatives as well as create and edit online marketing initiatives (e-mail blasts, e-newsletters, etc.) that promote awareness and reinforce brand.

Skills:

Complete proficiency with the entire Adobe CS5 group (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Dreamweaver)

HTML, Php, animated gifs, Javascript, Flash and WordPress.

Experience with social media marketing strategies

Competentcy in Graphic production/optimization of images for web sites, mobile apps, emails and other digital platforms

Capability of handling Image/photographic/graphic-related research

Familiarity with all web applications relevant to the publication industry

Ability to create graphic design/layout based on initial design comps

Abitilty to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Compensation: We offer a salary of $35,000 per year
