JOB TITLE: Full Time Graphic Designer

BUSINESS TYPE: Large Format & Traditional Print and Fabrication Company

LOCATION: Wheat Ridge, CO

THE COMPANY:

A smaller, family owned and operated full service custom design and fabrication company is looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer. Our clientele includes many of the major sports complexes, theatre venues, concert venues and convention centers in the Denver area and across the country. We specialize in creating stunning custom interior and exterior print design, including but not limited to, menu boards, display structures, menus and creative graphic solutions to fit our client's unique situations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Graphic Design, Related Arts or Marketing

3+ years as a professional Graphic Designer

Knowledge and understanding of commercial, large format and on-demand printing processes

Professional mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop

A rich and diverse portfolio, preferably showing a wide array of mediums (advertisements, logos, restaurant or related menus is a HUGE plus, reports, signs, etc.)

Thrive in an environment of constant change with the ability to quickly shift gears when projects are re-prioritized.

A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Ability to work in a PC platform environment

Work independently with minimal direction or supervision

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for creating eye-popping media and designs from inception through final fabrication

Manage all aspects of complex and eye-catching print design work that range from simple directional signage, to complex large scale signs, menu boards and a wide array of various layouts.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and develop quality creative work within super tight deadlines.

Be able to work on your own, with minimal direction at quick speeds

Typesetting and editing of complex restaurant and concession menus

Flexibility to perform non-graphic design related work when needed

Thinks outside the box to meet the client's unique situation

Can respond positively to constructive criticism and can refine design work accordingly

Able to meet multiple short deadlines, prioritize tasks and communication in a busy environment while maintaining high quality work

ADDITIONAL QUALITIFICATIONS:

Photography skills a bonus

Thrives on the challenge of constantly being creative on-demand

Experience in large format and sign design

Experience in designing for the food & beverage, restaurant and concession related environments

Understanding of custom fabrication

Familiarity with Flexi-Pro or other sign rip software

Ability to lift 50 lbs
