Food Company located in Brooklyn seeks a Graphic Designer for both Print and Web Design. This is a Full Time Staff opportunity within our company.

The Graphic Designer will create graphics and designs for various media including print to meet specific commercial and promotional needs such as advertising, displays, flyers, leaflets, banners, labels, etc. Packaging design experience desired as well. The Designer will also design and update websites.

Responsibilities:

Develop marketing and sales materials, with an emphasis on graphic design (including food product labels and packaging, trade show banners, promotional flyers and point of sales displays, etc.).

Maintain our company websites, and design new websites.

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts to meet Marketing and Sales needs.

Liaise with Marketing supervisors to discuss and determine layout design, review final layouts, and suggest improvements.

Consolidate and organize marketing materials and display items.

Support and participate in marketing events, including assisting in sending invitations and preparing show materials

Requirements:

BA degree in graphic design.

2 years working experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications including email and the Internet.

Proficiency in HTML, XML, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Quark, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Creativity and the ability to formulate and adapt to new thoughts and ideas.

Proven track record of success in Print and Website Design with a portfolio to back it up.

Chinese speaking - Mandarin/Cantonese a plus.
