Voice for Oregon Innovation & Sustainability (VOIS Business Alliance) is seeking part-time interns or volunteers to join it's fun and fast-moving communications team. We are a mission-driven non-profit working to support and engage sustainable business leaders...as well as encourage and train the next generation of the same. Seeking volunteers with skill sets in graphic design, web design, copy writing and editing, and social media.
You will work as part of a marketing team with a diverse group of experienced marketing professionals and one or two other interns/volunteers. All positions are volunteer at this time, although you will have access to valuable networking, training events and resume-building experience. Whether you are just starting out or you are a seasoned professional looking for new connections, this is a great place to make pursue a future in sustainability.
More about YOU: Responsible and dependable, creative, social, friendly, interested in sustainability. Own computer (portable or not). Willing to attend occasional marketing team meetings and also work independently. Must be able to work at least 8 hours a week for a minimum of at least 8 weeks. More is better!
Marketing intern should be a good writer and comfortable with computers, emailing, social networking, etc.
Graphic artists needed for both print and web as well as doing some simple web programming (although we might consider someone who has one or the other skill set if it's the right person).
