Overview of Internship:

We are looking for a design student to play a key role in elevating Fair Trade USA's brand presence in printed and online materials. This internship will provide exposure to a variety of graphic design tasks in a nonprofit environment with the opportunity to create a portfolio of finished products. This is a critical, hands-on position in Fair Trade USA's integrated communications department, helping to ensure brand integrity in all published materials.

Design tasks include:

Web graphics

Promotional merchandise

Info packets

Signage

Trade show materials

And much, much more!

Requirements:

A passion for design, and a constant drive to learn

Excellent time management and communications skills, a collaborate work ethic

Ability to work independently, but seek help when needed

A portfolio of outstanding work, with examples of student projects

Solid skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Schedule: 10 or more hours/week for a minimum of 3 months

Unpaid internship, local transportation reimbursement may be possible.
