Manage all aspects of graphic design and production, including concept development and presentation, design, layout and print production for all internal and external promotional, advertising and marketing materials. Types of projects to include corporate identity materials, advertising layouts, social media, presentation kits and promotional contests. Execute tactical portion of marketing plan while continuing to provide feedback and insight to create new marketing tactics.

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Design

Develop original concepts to support advertising, direct mail and other promotional campaigns for ARAMARK. This would include a wide range of media such as: product logos, ad layouts, product slicks, case studies, brochures, booklets, postcards, mailers, flyers, signs, tradeshow graphics, presentation materials, announcements, meeting materials and newsletters.

Communication

Ability to produce and develop press releases

Display accurate and effective communication skills via email, phone, written and oral

Converse with students, faculty and staff to ensure customer satisfaction

Assist with social media platform

Ensure print collateral is posted to marketing standards and is current

Ability to present materials to a large audience

Sales/ Promotions

Assist in the development of promotions in order to increase sales

Assist Marketing Manager with meal plan sales initiatives (students and faculty/staff)

Inform and sell meal plans to incoming students during summer Orientation

Audits/Analysis

Assist in monthly audits of dining locations to determine signage and promotional needs

Assist Marketing Manager in market research endeavors such as surveys, focus groups and campus mapping

Skills Required

Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field

Strong concept development and hands-on design skills

High level of technical skills with MAC using Adobe CS5.5 including: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign preferred

The ability to work and solve problems independently and to manage projects from concept to completion.

Ability to handle multiple projects with varying schedules and meet deadlines comfortably.

Attention to detail and accuracy of data.

Ability to organize and process large amounts of work.

Ability to contribute as a member of a creative team
