Job Description
Cvent is seeking a talented, entry-level
graphic designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate
about design. This position will work closely with other designers to create
marketing and sales presentations, collateral, illustrations, icons and
other graphics. Experience or strong interest in marketing and technology is
a must -- our designers are expected to contribute not only to visuals, but
also to the concepts and strategies behind designs.
Experience drafting and designing
presentations is a big plus. Video and animation experience is helpful but
not required.

Position Duties
Create and update business presentations
Develop graphics and layouts for the web and for print materials
Translate abstract concepts into visual illustrations
Ensure creative alignment with branding and marketing strategy
Reinforce corporate branding through cutting edge design
Manage projects from start to finish (includes brainstorming concepts,
light copy-writing, organizing information, and approaching projects with
basic marketing fundamentals in mind).
Candidate Requirements:
A passion for design and strong desire to learn and grow as a designer
Strong interest in marketing
Ability to work quickly and independently when required
Experience creating images for web and print
Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint
Detail-oriented, professional attitude
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related discipline
Pluses:
Experience shooting, editing, and compositing video -- especially for online
use
Experience creating animations in Flash or AfterEffects
HTML/CSS skills
Pre-press experience
Strong writing and/or proofreading skills
