Graphic Designer

Printing and Manufacturing Company, seeks a graphic designer to handle day-to-day graphic assignments, large-scale projects, website design and maintenance, and the management of workflow in the art department. We're looking for someone with strong graphic skills, knowledge of the latest programs, knowledge of HTML and CSS, the ability to design for a digital space, and strong project management skills.

Required skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts or 3-4 years of experience in related field.

MAC proficient.

MUST know programs: Quark, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML and CSS.

Good communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Exceptional Project management skills.

Additional skills needed for this position include:

Skill set in color separation and file prep for printing

Knowing the difference between PMS and 4 COLOR PROCESS

Knowing the difference between Silk Screening, Offset Printing & Digital Printing

Color Matching

Setting up files for specialty die cutting

Logo design knowledge

Design skills in creativity, out of the box thinking, and the ability to generate

new ideas and concepts for clients and for in-house projects

The ability to get the above mentioned design created fast and to the

best of their abilities

Typography knowledge

Basic web design skills

MAC and PC knowledge

Being able to handle TIGHT deadlines.
