Profile:
Manufacturing/distributing company selling to Mass market retail chains in the Home Decor category is looking for a graphic designer/production artist to oversee packaging of consumer products. Position may be a full-time or per-project basis, depending on candidate.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, extremely detail oriented, highly organized and be able to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Create, collaborate and contribute on new labeling and packaging of products
Build technically correct high quality printer-ready files
Take direction and see a job through concept to completion
Ability to coordinate multiple design projects simultaneously and make all deadlines
Requirements / Qualifications:
2-5 years of strong and proven design experience
Must be proficient in a Mac and PC based software programs
Advanced skills using Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop
Attention to detail and follow through
Reliable and professional
Work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Self-motivated, able to pick up company needs and requirements quickly
Communicates clearly in meetings, on paper, via email and over the phone
Highly organized
