Manager/Project Manager (Creative Firm)

We are looking for an Office Manager/Project Manager who will handle day-to-day administration such as team communications, procedural controls, filing, organizing, scheduling, tracking projects and client expectations, and obtaining facilities, services and materials. The Office Manager/Project Manager will assist with the management of client, project interactions and expectations of project and scope.

This is a great role for someone looking to gain experience in a creative/marketing organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Establish and maintain organization and coordination of office operations and procedures in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

-Ability to plan and implement project interactions as well as define project scope, goals and deliverables.

-Develop full-scale project plans and assemble and coordinate project staff, manage project resource allocation, plan and schedule timelines as well as track major project milestones.

-Create, direct and delegate project team and tasks and report on progress of project to all stakeholders.

-Developing and maintaining cordial relationships with clients and team members.

-Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycles.

-Set and continually manage project expectations with team and other stakeholders.

-Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

-Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

-Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take a positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

-Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

-Plan and implement office systems, layout and equipment procurement and maintenance.

-Conduct completed-project reports and create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

-Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-University degree in the field of Business Admin/MGMT, Communications, Design (web,graphic), etc. . .

-2-5 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

-Strong familiarity with project management software including Basecamp.

-Technically competent with carious software programs

-Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

-Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk management.

-Strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

-A Big Plus is to know BASECAMP and Creative Suite.
