This position is responsible for all marketing activities in our San Francisco office. Day-to-day activities are primarily focused on producing materials for new business pitches produced in both PowerPoint and InDesign. We are looking for a candidate that can help Jones Lang LaSalle elevate our creative approach to new business. Core responsibilities include:

Pitches/Proposals

Point person for the writing and production of all presentations and proposals -- includes formal responses to RFPs (compliance with RFP requirements), client communication, presentation materials; coordination with market research, regional and national marketing

Interview and gather information to customize RFP responses and presentations with input from business line leaders and/or subject matter experts

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and task-execution capabilities throughout all phases of presentations and proposals, including planning, design, writing, review and production

Format of all communications to comply with firm standards

Maintain log of recent work for metrics reporting

Event Planning and External Communications

Develop and execute client event and communication strategy

Devise concepts including planning the logistics and coordination of all events and communications

Oversee client communications, local conferences and events, working in partnership with business leaders and local support teams

Provide event support, including site research, vendor relations, overall coordination, and follow up

E-Marketing

Responsible for e-Announcements of relevant news, such as completed large transactions, new hires or promotion announcements, etc.

Assist in the coordination and distribution of a quarterly external communication of research and thought leadership, working in collaboration with market research

Using the data maintained by the local CRM administrator, keep broker lists and client/prospect lists updated for e-marketing purposes.

Collateral Development

In collaboration with marketing and business leadership, develop collateral for the San Francisco, based on relevant need

Partner with marketing teammates, brokers, researchers and/or administrative staff to assist in the creation of marketing materials (both design and content) including brochures, presentations, direct mail, e-marketing, white papers, advertisements, etc.

Manage production resources both internal and external in the development of marketing collateral to ensure that materials are proofread, meet all applicable approvals both internal and external, comply with corporate brand standards, and meet deadlines

Maintain the San Francisco/Bay Area Graphics Catalog and Marketing Library

Responsible for maintaining a graphics library of maps, stock photography, aerials, cataloged by type/service and saved electronically to the local market network and regional Connect Site

Update existing case studies for consistent content and format

Responsible for the creation of new case studies as directed

Maintain, update, develop (as needed) standard format biographies of all Jones Lang LaSalle personnel in San Francisco.

Additional Responsibilities

Act as a steward of the firm's brand and visual graphic standards

Partner with market research and business leaders, information flow of local trends, new assignments and closed deals; maintain regular contact with local PR firm

Ensure budget adherence for all marketing activities

Ensure that all marketing materials created in the San Francisco office present the Jones Lang LaSalle brand consistently and follow corporate graphic standards

Attend regional marketing trainings and participate in regular best practices conference calls

Maintain all project files, including budgets, production schedules, copies and completed work samples

Skills Needed:

Excellent writing, editing, verbal communication and presentation skills

Strong creative skills, solid knowledge of print production and ability to provide art direction

Excellent organizational skills

Assertive, with an independent work style

Detail-oriented

Understanding of and commitment to client service

New business development and sales support experience

Ability to work effectively in teams

Ability to juggle multiple projects

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)

Four to six years of related experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in design, marketing, communication or journalism
