On-Site Production Artist -- Amri Studio, Santa Rosa, CA

Amri Studio is a design and production studio focusing on nationally recognized architectural glass installations and we are looking for a local, high detail oriented and precise Production Artist to join our team. No commuters.

FUNCTION

The on-site Production Artist will use their expertise in design software applications and sharp eye for high precision detail to translate designs into vendor and production ready digital files and dimension worksheets while assisting with scanning, printing, and file sharing as needed. This is an hourly PART TIME, AS NEEDED position with room to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-- Collaborate and take direction from the Graphic Design team/Creative Director in order to create all working production ready files, dimension worksheets, and presentation packages.

-- Support Graphic Design team with scanning, printing, file sharing, presentation packages and anything else requested and required.

-- Monitor relations and production of work with outside vendors.

-- Coordinate with Creative Director and Production team to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.

-- Meet precision standards for digital files and high quality presentation requirements as directed by Graphic Design team.

REQUIREMENTS

-- 2 years experience as Production Artist or similar role

-- Experience working in the areas of print and/or environmental graphic design and/or product design and/or architectural design

-- Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint

-- Strong knowledge of Mac OS

-- Demonstrated ability to work with large scale Epson printing

-- Demonstrated ability to work with Epson scanners

-- Demonstrated ability to work with FTP servers, file sharing

-- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively

-- Self-starter mentality

-- Detail oriented

-- Extremely organized with file sharing on servers

-- Great problem solver/solution oriented approach

-- Must thrive in a high velocity and constantly evolving work environment

-- Excellent time management and planning skills

-- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication

-- Highly precise eye for detail, deep sense of personal responsibility and a desire to create a quality, custom end product
