The Role: Consistently and creatively find new and innovative ways to improve the user experience on Cappex.com - from a both a user and revenue standpoint. This role will be utilizing top-notch A/B and MVT software, website analytics (and plenty of other tools) to create tests, monitor, and implement best results. This role also serves as providing data analysis, reports, and other business intelligence data used by employees at Cappex. The Ideal Candidate: You are a curious self-starter who always brings tons of fresh ideas to the table. You should have some basic business experience, but more importantly understand how a website's conversion goals and users work together to make a viable and successful business. You should be creative in coming up with new ideas to test, and possibly have experience to back it up. You should be able to make actionable reports, and use software to its max to achieve successful results. Required Skills: - Experience working with various A/B testing software, web analytics packages (Google Analytics/Omniture) and other online tools -- and then implementing the results. - Knowledge of Excel -- the ability to utilize various functions/pivoting to make useful reports out of complex data. - Be creative and comfortable creating mockups, designs, and able to oversee the designs are put into the website. - Ability to translate data-driven insights & results into business and marketing implications for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, statistics, graphic design, or user interface design. Other Beneficial Skills: - Basic understanding/knowledgeof HTML, Javascript, MySQL, Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst,Optimizely (or another MVT platform), Photoshop. - Experience with basic SEO principles, PPC/SEM advertising, and other online marketing strategies. - Experience in defining/creating KPI's and monitoring results on a continual basis. - Excellent written communication skills. - Experience working in an AGILE software development company.
