Times Media Group seeks a professional for part-time work on our graphic design team in the production of advertisements for our family of publications. Times Media is the publisher of the Times Publications, Lovin' Life After 50, Valley Living Magazine, the Scottsdale Airpark News and the Nearby News publications of the East Valley.
Qualified candidate has at least 2 years of newspaper/magazine production-related experience, including ad design, layout execution and has a general understanding of the printing process.
This is a high-production environment with advertisements comprising a high percentage of the work volume. Efficient ad concept formulation skills and an ability to effectively deal directly with clients is required for this position.
A proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite applications is required. Products are designed using InDesign, making a comprehensive working knowledge of it and other Adobe programs essential.
Compensation is market competitive. The hours per week will vary increasing the last two weeks of the month.
