Description:
We have an opening for a Production Artist/Junior Graphic Designer Position in the magazine publishing industry.
The Applicant will work closely with the Art Director/Senior Designer in the layout and design of advertisement and the content of our monthly publication. This is a full-time, in-house, salaried position. Salary depends on experience.
Requirements/Qualifications:
3+ years experience on Macintosh Platform.
Knowledge and proficiency in Quark Express,
Adobe Suite Programs and Microsoft Office Programs.
Strong knowledge of Printing Processes and
Electronic File Preparation for commercial output.
Strong layout and design skills.
Creative and self-motivated; must be able to take direction
from others within a team.
Attention to detail is very important.
Position also requires design and development of
promotional materials such as: Brochures, Flyers, Logos,
T-Shirt Designs and Web Pages.
