The National Restaurant Association is seeking a dynamic Production Specialist. The Production Specialist is responsible for working with the Production Manager to produce high quality materials, including, but not limited to, textbooks, customer-facing documents, certificates, answer sheets, marketing collateral, and event materials, consistent with the National Restaurant Association brands. This position prepares and finalizes materials for production, including updating and finalizing text and images, enacts overall quality controls, manages the production process with the internal project owner and project manager, and archives materials. The position requires the ability to build and work in mechanical layouts as well as a solid knowledge of print production and web content specifications.

Principle Duties:

Works as part of Products and Services Operations team to accomplish Association goals.

Assists PMO Manager to accomplish departmental goals.

Supports all internal team members and departments following the Association mission and values while promoting Association culture.

Builds technically correct and error-free files for the specified media, whether for print or online deployment.

Photoshops, color-corrects, and places images.

Troubleshoots layout and file issues.

Essential Training/Certifications:

Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, product layout, and print production

Training in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat software
