Marketing and Public Relations Internship

Reasonable transportation stipend available, as well as career coaching and a review at the end to enhance individual's resume and provide marketing career advice. Will comply with guidelines for college credit, and future references given based on performance. This is an intership that will give you great experience, excellent mentorship, future references, and a lot to put on your resume.

Intern specifications include, but are not limited to:

-Media research and outreach: includes research into effective and relevant media channels, creating media lists, pitching over the phone, writing press releases, support in overall media strategy

-Social media support: writing blog entries, maintaining Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts, developing effective social media strategies and presenting to Director of Marketing

-Research: awards and competitions relevant to our architectural firm

-Assist with marketing materials for outreach and partnerships with larger architectural firms

-Develop marketing strategy: assist in creating effective marketing strategy for the firm in the architectural industry related to positioning, differentiating, and distinguishing the firm

Qualifications/Must Haves:

-excellent academic record (preferred minimum 3.3 GPA)

-prefer Junior/Senior standing or older

-go-getter attitude, outgoing, comfortable with speeches

-interest in marketing and public relations

-strong writing skills

-clear and effective oral communication skills

-able to balance multiple projects and great time management skills

-results-oriented

-organization and flexibility

-reliability, dedication, great work ethic, good teamwork, positive attitude

Details:

-Intern position available immediately

-work 2-4 days a week, flexible hours

-minimum of 10 hours per week (preferred 15+)

-location: Cleveland Park, Washington, D.C.

-we are within a three minute walking distance from the Cleveland Park metro
