Seeking Chicago'S Best Graphic Designer (Deerfield, Il)

We are searching for a graphic designer to become an instrumental role in our creative team. The position is full-time, in-office, and will require design in a variety of mediums, including web, print, and email. Candidates must be able to design and implement concepts often times under very tight deadlines. Must also be extremely creative and be able to implement those creative ideas on their own, without direction. The ideal candidate is also passionate about design, detail-oriented and is knowledgeable of the latest design trends.

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of commercial design experience: Do you have real experience working with a real company making real, company-branded collateral? Really?

- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign: Can you Photoshop my head onto the body of Peyton Manning? If I need it quickly, can you do it quickly? Don't ask why...

- A sense of humor: Jokes, quips, buffoonery, and the like.

- Good understanding of color theory and typography: What is your favorite PANTONE color? What is your favorite font? Is it Comic Sans? Be honest, is it?

- Strong conceptual skills and/or the ability to draw better than a ten year old

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

It'd be awesome if you had:

- Working knowledge of Adobe Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver

- Advanced HTML, CSS skills

- An aunt/uncle who is a movie star
